Russian Pate-sur-Pate

Pate-sur-pate technique was developed at Sevres, France by Louis Solon who later moved to England and worked at Minton. This decorating style became extremely popular in late 19th century and was adopted by other major European porcelain makers including Russian Imperial Porcelain Factory.
