
Born in 1886. Studied at Drawing School of the Imperial Society for the Encouragement of the Arts (together with Alexandra Shchekotikhina-Pototskaya), under such prominent Russian artists and representatives of the Mir Iskusstva (Art World) circles as Nicholas Roerich and Ivan Bilibin. During the period of 1923-1924 worked at State Porcelain Factory as both a designer and porcelain painter. Best known for the plates made in 1924 to commemorate the death of Vladimir Lenin.
