Each character of the commedia evolved a distinct set of attributes\u2014characteristic speech, gestures, props, and costume that became standard to the portrayal of the character.<\/p>\n<p>Pedrolino is sweet-natured and naive (best known as Pierrot) accepts blame for wrongs he has not committed.
