Born in 1870. An artist at State Porcelain Factory from 1918. Had trained in the workshop of Ilya Repin at the Saint Petersburg Academy of Arts and Elizaveta Kruglikova\u2019s studio in Paris. Began his career as a graphic artist and his unusual style of painting was definitely influenced by the graphics. Timorev\u2019s hand painted colorful works at first glance look like colored-in prints. His plates are signed on the front \u201cTimorev\u201d with a date, and marked on the back with a symbol<\/span><\/a> of clubs suit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
