Joined Imperial Porcelain Factory in St Petersburg as a designer in 1905, and from 1906 to 1935 directed factory&#8217;s painting workshop. After the Russian revolution of 1917, Vilde created numerous drawings for Soviet propaganda porcelain, primarily plates.
