This is the largest out of all Minton Parian figures. Introduced in 1866 and withdrawn soon after. Very few were made.
Inspired by Walter Scott’s ballad.
Felix Martin Miller, born 1820, joined the R.A. Schoold in 1842. Exhibited at R.A. and other exhibitions until about 1880. The original version of this work was exhibited at the Royal Acadamy in 1865.
