Hermann Hubatsch (1878-1940)

A German sculptor and ceramic artist born in Berlin. Best known for his work as a model designer for the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin from 1903 into the 1920s. During this period, KPM was producing some of its most refined porcelain figures, combining traditional craftsmanship with the more modern artistic tastes of the early 20th century such as Art Nouveau (Jugendtstil) and Art Deco.
