Designed by Carrier-Belleuse after Claude Michel Clodion (1738-1814), a renowned French sculptor known for his Rococo and Neoclassical works featuring mythological scenes, putti, and satyrs Oviform with the neck and lower part fluted, and grounded in green and picked out in gold. The neck is flanked by statuettes of a male and female satyr.
