Irene Marchioness von Pallavicini (1811 – 1877) was the Hungarian-born daughter of the Marquise de Pallavicini. A lady in waiting in the Bavarian court, she married Count Alois Nikolaus Arco, the Royal Bavarian Chamberlain, and they spent much of their time on her family lands in Austria, and at Castle Anif, near Salzburg. Her marriage was childless and ended in separation, but not divorce.
Irenes portrat by Joseph Stieler was completed in 1834 when she was 23 years old.
