The “Philae Obelisk,” a monolithic rock inscribed with hieroglyphs, held crucial significance in understanding ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. It was found in the ruins of the Temple of Isis on Philae Island in the Nile River. The inscription included the names of Ptolemy and Cleopatra, helping decipher the hieroglyphs. It was later transported to England and became a key tool in the decipherment of hieroglyphs.
