In Greek mythology, Hercule does not kidnap Hesione in the traditional sense, but he does take her as a prize after sacking Troy. He had initially saved her from a sea monster sent by Poseidon, but King Laomedon refused to pay Hercules the promised horses. This led to Hercules returning with an army, capturing the city, and giving Hesione to Telamon as a war prize.
